Feeding the Hungry
The State of Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places to live and raise a family. However, most people don't realize that almost 200,000 people are living in homes without enough food...half of which are children.
FEEDING HAWAII TOGETHER (FOOD PANTRY)
In 1993, Word of Life Christian Center opened a food pantry called, Feeding Hawaii Together, to meet the needs of Hawaii's families. We currently provide over 1,250,000 pounds of food a year, helping over 62,000 people in 29,000 households. This is one of the many reasons why we believe that the church is the hope of the world.
Feeding Hawaii Together is located at 615 Keawe Street in Downtown Honolulu, a few blocks away from our main campus, and is open to everyone.

Many individuals and families in Hawaii are facing financial difficulty: the elderly, single parents, those with family deployed in the military or experiencing tragedy.
Operation Blessing adopts families in need during the holiday season and provides meals, gifts, and other blessings to bring joy and encouragement.
Operation Blessing also conducts Food Drives throughout the year. Hunger in Hawaii is a serious issue that affects over 14% of our state's populatio, which includes more than 55,000 children and 11,000 of our elderly.
